This week in my online business creation class we had a pretty light workload with only one assignment. We focused primarily on the ads we created last week and how we can improve them to make them as effective as possible. I received a few suggestions from classmates and saw some things that I really liked as well that I will be implementing into my own ads.
One thing I saw was that when you can include a statistic or number of sorts it draws your eye to the ad a little more and seems to add some credibility. One of my classmates used "up to 55% off" in their ad and it instantly stood out from my other classmates' ads. With my product I think I might offer a discount for the first Cupid Crate someone orders and say something like "get 10% off your first date box" or something along those lines. Another thing that I learned was how important it is for your ad and your landing page to use similar verbiage. I want to overhaul some of the copy on my website now that I've started to nail down a little more of my branding and work on the best way to communicate what is being offered based on the search keywords someone is using so I may even create multiple landing pages to use for each ad group I create.
