Rexburg Life offers local business deals and coupons. As part of that, local businesses will reach out and provide us with a few things so that we can make the post. To keep things streamlined and as simple as possible I created a "Deals" custom post type, custom taxonomies, and custom fields so that a new deal can be added and displayed on the website in the correct places with minimal effort using repeaters and WP Query. I also implemented a custom JS library for a better looking carousel element that works great on mobile to recommend additional deals to customers viewing individual deals.
