While working for Afficacy I was tasked with the solo assignment to pitch and redesign FLM USA's retail site.
There were a few things that they wanted to keep the same such as the layout of the product categories on the home page.
This project included developing a new color scheme to bring a modern sleek feel to to the site. I was also able to add life and make the site more engaging through adding images and scroll animations to keep the user moving down the screen.
A major factor in the success of this project was organizing information so it was easy to access in an effort to reduce customer service calls asking for help with knowing what to order.
In the week before the update, FLM USA had a total of 3 sales. In the week following the update they had 13 sales.
Over the course of the month they saw a 52% increase in number of orders, 67% increase in net sales, and 9% increase in average order value! They are on track to maintain these numbers for the rest of the year compared to the previous year.
